Paolo Montalban releases debut album

INTERNATIONAL star Paolo Montalban is back in town to promote his eponymous album under Vicor Music Corporation. This is Paolo's very first album released here in the Philippines.
Paolo, who made waves in the US when he was cast as the Prince Charming in the modern day version of Cinderella opposite singing star Brandy, is very happy to be back in time for the promotions of his album. The album, which was launched in "SOP" last Sunday has 11 tracks with three Tagalog songs and eight English songs.
Paolo who is still improving on his native language took the challenge of recording the three Tagalog songs in the album. These include, his very own version of Sharon Cuneta's "Ikaw," Joanne Lorenzana's "Kung Alam Mo Lang" and the album's carrier single, "Kung Di Tayo Paano Na?"
Asked how he managed to sing these Tagalog songs very well, Paolo is quick to give credit to his "dialect coach" who stood by his side during the recording sessions. And of course, the English translation for each of the songs helped him not to miss out on every song's significance.
As for the English songs, listeners will quickly understand why Paolo has impressed many in the US, Canada and in other parts of the world with his great voice and style. Listen to Paolo's version of "She," "Pure Imagination," "Close Upon The Hour," "One," "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful/I Have Dreamed," "Next To Me," "Your One and Only Man," "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me/Only You" (bonus track dedicated for his Mom) and experience a musical treat from a world-class performer.
Apart from being busy doing the rounds of promotions for his album, Paolo will be co-hosting "SOP" while he is in town. There are also some movie offers that are coming his way but no definite plans as of yet. Concert? In time maybe, for now Paolo is just too happy to finally have his album here.
His self-titled album is now available in cassettes and CDs nationwide only from Vicor Music Corporation. The first 1,000 buyers will get a free poster for every album purchase exclusive at all SM Department stores.
