Peopletalk / Liz Smith

Cinderella is a revamp of the famous 1957 CBS version, which starred Julie Andrews. The special has been budgeted at $10 million, making it the most expensive movie in small-screen history! Whitney is the fairy godmother, Brandy plays Cinderella, Whoopi is the queen, Bernadette is the wicked stepmother, and Jason appears as the prince's steward. The handsome prince is Paolo Montalban -- plucked from the chorus of Broadway's smash revival The King and I.
